"Into The Blue" Tour 2024

"I am thrilled to announce my new album "Into the Blue - Live in concert", which was recorded on March 27 at the Harmonie in Bonn. Featuring a selection of the best originals and cover songs from the concert that night, "Into the Blue" will be released independently on CD and Blu-ray disk in a beautiful double digipak on September 19, 2024. A big thank you to the musicians who made this evening on stage at the Harmonie in Bonn so special: Krissy Matthews on guitar, Felix Dehmel on drums and Josh Rigal on bass and backing vocals. A big thank you to Martin Meinschaefer from Megaphon Tonstudios for the recording, mixing and mastering and to Moritz Meinschaefer for the camera work and editing. And thanks to my tour manager Ozzy van der Loo and all the staff at the Harmonie in Bonn that night. This live concert album/film is dedicated to my fans and I can't wait to share it with you all soon. The cover design is by Nora van Rijn and the cover photo is by Sabine Büttner. Pre-order information will be coming next month. Thank you to everyone who made this project possible." - Layla Zoe

In March 2024, Layla Zoe, also known as Canada's darling of the blues, set off on the Into the Blue Tour with her band of road-warrior musicians to conquer the stages of Europe, as she has done for the past 15 years. But with one difference. During the Into the Blue Tour, she split the concert into two halves each night: one set featured original songs from her extensive discography (including albums produced by Henrik Frieschlader, Jan Laacks and independently) and one set featured cover songs by artists who had inspired her in her youth to follow her path in music.

With Krissy Matthews on guitar (Hamburg Blues Band), Josh Rigal on bass (Alice Armstrong) and Felix Dehmel on drums (Marcus Deml), she enlisted renowned German sound engineer Martin Meinschaefer (Back to the Spirit of 66, The Lily) to record the sound of a very special night on tour on March 27 at the Harmonie stage in Bonn, a venue known for the famous Rockpalast concert series. He also hired a film crew to record the concert in high-quality 4K to capture the energy of their deep connection with the fans from the stage.

Now you can hear and see this beautiful, energetic concert in which Layla Zoe sings original rock and blues songs, softly whispered ballads and well-known and lesser-known cover songs from the concert. On September 19, 2024, "Into the Blue - Live in Concert" will be released as a CD and Blu-ray in a double digipak. Don't miss this very special collection of songs and videos by Layla Zoe, who is not known as "The Firegirl" for nothing and is one of the best in the business when it comes to "ripping hearts out and putting them back in".
