So it’s no surprise that Gerd Schlüter named his band THE MAGIC OF SANTANA back in 2010...
Seit mehr als 13 Jahren bringt der Hamburger Santana-Fan und Gitarrist die Musik seines Idols auf internationale Bühnen. THE MAGIC OF SANTANA werden verstärkt durch den legendären SANTANA-Sänger und 11-fachen Grammy-Gewinner Tony Lindsay (1995 bis 2015) und nach Wunsch mit dem in Deutschland ansässigen Daniel Durst.
After performances in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland, and Spain, THE MAGIC OF SANTANA is considered the best Santana tribute band in this genre!
With seven professional musicians, all united by their passion for this powerful music, and original members of Santana, they bring pulsating shows across the unique repertoire of the Mexican guitarist. Nobody can sit still when THE MAGIC OF SANTANA rocks the stage with three percussionists performing raw Latin rock classics such as “Jingo”, “Soul Sacrifice”, “Oye Como Va”, or “Evil Ways”.
And no one remains untouched when heartfelt melodies such as “Somewhere in Heaven”, “Black Magic Woman”, “Europa”, or “Samba Pa Ti” are played. This band impresses with great joy of playing and gives everything at their shows – always with their own style, but without losing sight of the original.
