+++++++++++++++++++++++
This band truly needs no intro: over the last 48 years, the Buzzcocks have evolved from pioneers of the British punk scene to absolute legends of the genre. With their name now literally carved in stone on the Music Walk of Fame, they join musical greats such as David Bowie, The Who and Madness and are as significant as ever. In 2025, they will be touring with old and brand new hits, including their worldwide hit 'Ever Fallen in Love'! Fans can look forward to an evening full of punk and new wave classics that have inspired a whole generation of artists.
While most of their genre companions settle for the same nostalgic shows over and over, the Buzzcocks go with the spirit of the times, gaining a cross-generational fanbase over the years. "There's very little intelligent or emotional thinking in music these days," says Steve Diggle. "People are controlled. They watch a video of someone slipping on a banana peel and really think they're being entertained. The beauty of words passes them by, as well as the power of music. I wish that the young people who come to our concerts would feel the same excited joy that we felt in our time with Little Richard and Chuck Berry. Here we come full circle to punk. It was about attitude and mindset. We had questions, but we didn't have the answers. But the questions are what's important."
