SAMANTHA FISH (US)
Paper Doll World Tour
Samantha Fish is not only considered one of the most remarkable guitarists of her generation, she also plays in a league of her own: she brilliantly infuses all her songs with overwhelming energy and extraordinary emotion and has enjoyed a triumphant career since first introducing her outstanding talent to the world. She has steadily worked her way up to become a headlining act, including a 2023 Grammy nomination for the album “Death Wish Blues,” a collaboration with rocker Jesse Dayton, and the opening slot at the final concert of the Rolling Stones' 2024 US tour.
On her new LP, Paper Doll, the first album Fish has recorded with her touring band—consisting of Ron Johnson (bass), Jamie Douglass (drums), and Mickey Finn (keys)—the artist presents nine powerhouse songs that hit you with tremendous force. The new songs sound both extraordinarily raw and nuanced, and all testify to the unabashed defiance that pervades the entire album. Fish and her band recorded the album while they were virtually on tour the entire time, allowing them to carry the momentum of their live shows over to the album and breathe a lively pulse into the new LP. Since Fish always kept an eye on how the new songs would fit into her repertoire and be integrated into her energetic live show while recording the album, we can look forward to seeing how Samantha Fish and her band present the new songs in the set of the “Paper Doll World Tour.”
In spring 2026, Samantha Fish and her band will also be stopping off in Germany on their “Paper Doll World Tour” and presenting their new album live at three exclusive shows.
