Dana Fuchs – Finally live in Germany again!
New York singer Dana Fuchs is finally returning to Germany in 2026 – bringing her incomparable voice and electrifying stage presence back to the spotlight. Her new tour, titled „Zurück nach Deutschland“ promises unforgettable moments for all fans. In her luggage: a brand-new live album released via RUF Records . Before releasing her first own album in 2003, Dana had already become a well-established force in the American rock, blues, and soul scene. She shared the stage with legends such as Little Feat, Marianne Faithfull and Etta James.
She achieved international breakthrough when the producers of the Off-Broadway musical “Love, Janis” chose her for the lead role of Janis Joplin. Film appearances followed — including her role as singer Sadie in Across The Universe, where she performed Beatles songs with such intensity that many of them became permanent staples of her repertoire.
Shortly after, Dana met her musical partner Jon Diamond. Together they founded The Dana Fuchs Band, continue to write their outstanding songs, and tour the world regularly.
Her studio albums showcase the evolution of an exceptional artist: Love To Beg (2011), Bliss Avenue (2013), the comeback album Love Lives On (2018), and most recently Borrowed Time (2022). With Borrowed Time, Dana returns to her Southern Rock roots — raw, powerful, and full of passion. Producer Bobby Harlow (Detroit Cobras, Samantha Fish) captures Dana’s live energy in every song, turning the album into an intense experience for fans and newcomers alike.
