Skinny Molly

Skinny Molly was founded in 2004 by guitarist/vocalist Mike Estes (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) , Dave Hlubek ( of Molly Hatchet) and drummer Kurt Pietro. What was meant to be a one off tour of Europe has turned into one of the hardest working and popular rock bands out of the southern United States. Skinny Molly now includes guitarist Jay Johnson (formerly of Blackfoot), and bassist Luke Bradshaw. This line up has toured relentlessly, crossing the States and three continents on the strength of their “No Good Deed” debut CD, which has established the band as a very popular live attraction across Europe as well as at home.

In addition to being constantly in demand as a live act the band has appeared on the popular FOX television programs “Huckabee” and “Red Eye” in which they have also recorded the latter’s theme song. The group is currently recording their second cd, “Haywire Riot” to be released in April 2011, followed by a three week European tour.

Skinny Molly describes their music as deep rooted rock and roll. They have built an extremely loyal following through incessant touring and word of mouth. Skinny Molly has all of the qualities of classic bands you love combined with their own unique sound.
