TYKETTO
European Tour 2025
Since 1987, a band from New York has been thrilling metal fans worldwide - with “only” 5 studio albums and several live and DVD releases, TYKETTO have earned a special place in the rock & roll heart of their loyal audience.
Musically, the band has always been categorized somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi. Of course, all these bands have one thing in common - they have exceptional lead singers. In the case of TYKETTO, it is of course the charismatic DANNY VAUGHN - the last member of the original line-up after the departure of Michael Clayton.
The breakthrough came in 1991 with the debut album “Don't Come Easy”, which already contained the successful anthem “Forever Young”. Already with the second album TYKETTO had problems with the record company Geffen. The fact that Danny Vaughn left the band for a short time - he had to look after his wife - and had to be replaced by Steve Augeri (Journey) also hurt the band at first.
In 2004, the original line-up made a comeback and went on to perform at major festivals around the world - but they were also re-released. The albums “Dig in Deep” and “Reach” were released in 2016 - the band was suddenly respected and relevant again.
The current line-up looks like this:
Danny Vaughn – Vocals, acc. Guit
Ged Rylands – Keyboards
Chris Childs – Bass
Johnny Dee – Drums
Harry Scott Elliott – Lead Guitar
Johnny Dee is of course also prominent as DORO's drummer. He has connected TYKETTO with CBF Tours.
Get ready for classic powerful and heavy Rock & Roll and outstanding songs like “Forever Young” “Wings” “The End of Summer Days”. “Standing Alone”, ‘Scream’ and many more. Text: Peter Harasim
