The longest-serving band in music history on tour!

They have been around longer than the Rolling Stones, their career began even before the Beatles took off, and they have shared the stage with international stars such as The Who, The Kinks, Moody Blues and the Beach Boys: The Lords are the longest-serving band in music history.

Originally from Berlin, The Lords embody the beat era of the sixties like no other group, but remain as vital and dynamic as ever right up to the present day. In addition to regular tours at home and abroad - the internationally popular quartet recently made another stop in London - The Lords are also regular guests on radio and television, as well as winners of the 'Lifetime Award 2019' from 'Radio Regenbogen' and the 'Smago Award' from the online magazine of the same name.

In their rousing shows, the cult band set off furious fireworks with the biggest hits of their career such as 'Poor Boy', 'Shakin All Over', 'Have A Drink On Me' or 'Gloryland' as well as newer songs such as 'Everytime I Fall', 'If You Ain`t Got Love' or 'What Are We Waiting For'.

The Lords' career began in 1959, and just two years later the band was declared the winner of a major talent competition by the Berlin Senate. In 1964, the group won the prize as officially “Germany's No. 1 beat band” at the legendary 'Starclub' in Hamburg, the birthplace of the Beatles. The musicians signed their first record deal in the same year. This was followed by 60 extremely eventful and eventful years (between 1965 and 1969 alone, The Lords had twelve songs in the German, Austrian and Swiss charts, including a top 5 hit with 'Gloryland') with a total of more than seven (!) million records sold, in which guitarist and singer Jupp Bauer has been involved for more than 45 years.

Nevertheless, “Lord Jupp” and his three band members have never rested on their laurels or only paid homage to the past: the album 'Now More Than Ever!' was released in 2015 with brand new songs, and the EP 'Novum Nexus' was released in 2022 with a current version of their unforgettable smash hit 'Poor Boy', among other things.

So in 2024, The Lords are much more than just a backward-looking pop legend! The Lords have been an active band for 65 years, delighting fans of different generations with their exuberant joy of playing and convincing musicality!
