Henrik Freischlader is still an insider tip for anyone who has never heard of him. The German guitarist and singer has shared stages with B.B. King, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa and the Tedeschi Trucks Band and, after numerous European tours, has become an integral part of the international blues scene.
His virtuoso and passionate guitar playing, his raspy, distinctive voice and a feel for good grooves have shaped his unmistakable style over the years. The multi-instrumentalist has released 11 studio albums and 7 live albums since 2006, and there is almost always a new album in the pipeline on his Cable Car Records label.
He will be touring again in 2024 with his well-rehearsed band. KEEP PLAYING is the motto under which every concert becomes a unique and special experience, because every evening is different - there is improvisation, free jamming and the set list is also regularly expanded.
