“Come on, it's fine”

Butterwegge Duo could also be called a “musical reading”. Of course, they make music, mainly from their own pen, but there are also occasional borrowings from other, preferably German-speaking artists.

The Ruhrpott Original tells stories from tour buses, from the bar, from drunk cells, from intoxication and punk rock and plays selected songs from their five albums. The most recent work “Alle drehen durch” (Everyone goes crazy) made it to number 21 in the German album charts.

A smug, sometimes trivial, but also intelligently serious evening, peppered with a good dose of self-mockery, always surprising, intimate and very honest.

“The Juhncke of punk rock” - WAZ -

“I really like Butterwegge” - Campino -
