BONFIRE

ORIGINALLY from Ingolstadt, Germany and founded in 1972 as Cacumen and renamed Bonfire in 1986. Hans Ziller and Bonfire have been successful for over 40 years. Along the way, great successes have been celebrated. Including tours with Judas Priest and ZZ Top, Golden Record for Fireworks in Germany, numerous album chart entries in several countries, appearances on ZDF TV Rockgarten 2020 and 2021 and reaching over 25 million views of the classic song "You Make Me Feel" on YouTube .

The list gets longer every year, Bonfire have been working diligently on a major project that will be released on AFM Records in 2023. This includes a book biography by Hans Ziller, a documentary about Bonfire and the re-recordings of the first 3 Bonfire albums, DON'T TOUCH THE LIGHT, FIREWORKS AND POINT BLANK.

Bonfire has become known worldwide for their great songwriting and catchy melodies as well as their great musicianship presented with a heavy metal touch. "These 3 albums were the beginning of Bonfire for me." says Ziller "Unfortunately these records are no longer available and we didn't own the rights to the original recordings. So I decided to re-record these albums for the documentary." "There are so many great songs and to re-record them in this quality and hear the final result is incredible!"

Bonfire have proven themselves on stages all over the world and will prove it again when they perform these great albums live in 2023. BONFIRE will perform a brand new special "Best Of" program for 2023/24 entitled THE ORIGINS TOUR featuring the hits from these 3 legendary albums.
