BIRTH CONTROL
After the D-LP/CD *Here and Now* (2016) and the LP/CD *Open Up* (2022), which was placed in the Top100 of the German LP charts, the German prog rock band BIRTH CONTROL, which has existed for well over 50 years, will release a live LP again on April 20, 2024 on Record Store Day`24 after almost 45 years.
*Live@ Tresohr Sessions* contains 6 energetic tracks, including 5 previously unreleased live versions of the 2022 studio album *Open Up*, and brings Birth Control to the point here in 42 minutes.
After the sudden death of mastermind Bernd *Nossi* Noske in 2014, BIRTH CONTROL have been successfully touring again since the beginning of 2016. With Sascha Kühn (keyboards since 2001), Hannes Vesper (bass since 1998) and Martin Ettrich (guitar since 2009), two old BC members from the 1970s and 1980s formations, Peter Föller (vocals) and Manni von Bohr (drums), have been part of the current line-up since 2016.
Club and festival appearances in the last 8 years show: “BIRTH CONTROL has lost none of its charisma in the current line-up”. (ROCKS Magazine)
